This is Peggle! The game you know and love, but attempted by me :)

Break all the pegs with your limited ammo or fail!

Controls - Mouse to aim, left click to shoot

Note - Must zoom out lots on web browser

Features:

  • Cannon which fires cannonballs. This cannon has a limited range of 120 degrees, shoots towards your mouse curser and has a limited ammo of 5 shots per level
  • Cannonballs which can collide with the world and pegs. Once the current cannonball has come to rest, you can fire the next one. Whichever bucket the cannonball ends in will determine how many points you obtain. The cannonballs also have a trail, and the remaining number of cannonballs you have is displayed in the top left
  • Pegs which can be destroyed, rewarding you with even more points
  • An animated score counter/display in the top right (Note, couldn't fix issue with current levels score, so current levels score and total score will always remain the same)
  • Music and sound effects for both peg and bucket collisions
  • Main menu featuring a start from beginning button and a level select
  • Start and end of level text. End of level text is different depending on win or loss. Both win and loss message is chosen from a pool of potential messages
  • At the start and end of each level, all game mechanics are locked for short period of time

Three levels are featured!

  • First level for understanding the basics
  • Second level introduces multi hit platforms
  • Third level has an optional bonus

Once the game is beat, it will loop back to the first level.

Due to a cropping issue that wasn't fixed quick enough, the score, beginning of level message and end of level messages dont appear (All the calculations still happen, its just that since they are on a canvas, a resolution issue occurred, and when I tried to fix it last minute, it broke even more)
